Brian wants to know how long he should taper for his 5k. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the concept, “tapering” means wimping out and not running as much as you should. I don’t recommend it. If it made sense to run 10*800 at face-melting pace three weeks ago, then why not do it the night before your race?
